ROWonAIR is a company that looks to innovate day in and day out. ROWonAIR rowing units are crafted in-house at the Row & Sail GmbH boatyard in Lichtenberg near Linz, Austria. Their drop-stitch inflatable rowing boards are fabricated by a world-famous manufacturer of drop-stitch boards using only the highest quality materials, and rigorous production processes.
ROWonAIR® lets you row on inflatable SUP boards, kayaks, and skiffs as well as on your own inflatable or hard shell Stand Up Paddle board, kayak, canoe, Canadian canoe, or any other style of boat.
With RowVista, you row in the direction you are facing and can avoid damaging your boat and sculls. It is easy to stabilize the boat while looking ahead, you can constantly adjust the course. It is perfect for open water rowing and crossing the bow wave of larger boats.
Universal Rowing Unit Features & Innovations
The ROWonAIR Universal Rowing Unit is the world’s best drop-in rowing unit. It's easily mounted on any paddleboard or surf ski with the F-type rigger or mounted inside a shell or other rowing boat with the Y-type rigger. All of this, and you can bring it with you on vacation as checked luggage!
☑ Rowing forward with blade feathering
A technical masterpiece: rowing forward with blade feathering. This is a real first for forward rowing systems. And it is even easier to rotate than with classic rowing systems because the axis is mounted on ball bearings. The main reason why you get blisters on your hands using standard sculls is that the sculling sleeve is relatively difficult to rotate in the rowlock. With this system, rotation is controlled in both directions so that the blade is always in the right position. As a result, rowing with RowVista® is easier to learn than classic rowing. All of your energy is transmitted to the scull blade thanks to the highly efficient linkage. The handle shaft and blade shaft can be folded up and are self-locking.

Rowing with ROWonAIR means you can adjust seat placement, outrigger placement, height from the water, and even oarlock height (on RowMotion). ROWonAIR is made for everyone, and everyone will think it was customized just for them!
☑ Lighting Fast Assembly
All parts quickly and easily attach to the main central bar using red clamp levers. Essentially, slide the part onto the bar then flip the lever over and it is installed. The entire rowing unit can be assembled in just 2 minutes, without tools, slot and click mechanisms only
☑ High Friction Rubber Feet with Universal Mounting
Rubber feet prevent slipping fore and aft as well as side to side. Just above the feet are holes that allow passing a strap through the feet. This allows you to mount the ROWonAIR Universal Rowing Unit to any SUP or board by simply wrapping the strap around the board and pulling it tight.

The ROWonAIR Universal Rowing Unit is beautiful. The matte anodized aluminum main bar plays nicely with the sleek lines of the glossy carbon fiber outrigger. These materials combine for an ultra-rigid rowing unit.

All ROWonAIR products can be assembled and disassembled without the need for hand or power tools. ROWonAIR’s engineers designed their products using click-on and plug-in connections. Don’t own a boat trailer—no problem. ROWonAIR products can be packed into their provided compact bags so they can easily be transported by car, SUV, plane, or on foot.
