The BEAST makes its debut in the ZAP Lineup and itās a certified ripper! Designed by World Class Team Rider Yahir Valencia, the BEAST is an alternative shape design that is built to handle all conditions. The board design features a pulled-in pin nose with a wider mid-section and a pulled-in moon tail design that helps the board carry a ton of speed while keeping it nimble enough in the pocket of the wave.Ā
Ā
It features a ā
ā core for maximum responsiveness and is manufactured with our most durable Epoxy Carbon Construction for peak performance.
All proceeds support Brody Chandler Thompson ā the Light As Air Boats Fan Favorite! Check him out on Instagram @Chickenlittleskims!
An added 1/2ā of width in the midsection increases speed and overall travel distance when side-slipping out to waves. The double wing fish tail makes riding off the back foot a dream, enabling the rider to dramatically pivot and turn off the back foot without sinking the tail too deep in the water.
These boards are a work of art. Each one is hand-painted.Ā Every board is unique and will not look exactly like the picture.

Zap Skimboards is one of the most established and recognizable names in skimboarding, building boards for hundreds of thousands of riders all over the world since 1983. Yet with all of that success weāve managed to stay grounded. Weāre still just a small group of craftsman, artists, and dreamers who handmake every board right here in Venice, Florida USA.
