The patented design features 2-piece pontoon sections that allow fitting this boat into smaller vehicles without the need for a roof rack or trailer. It has "Bronze" color pontoons, still a stealth color from beneath the waves, but very sharp looking on the surface with molded-in VO leaping fish logos.

The pontoons are molded on a $1M molding machine that provides consistent wall thickness. The puncture-proof pontoons don’t require inflation and feature a flat, tabletop workspace.
The boat assembles quickly with the use of clevis pins to connect the strong, lightweight aluminum-alloy frame sections. Hybrid rear cargo rack accepts optional deluxe folding dual wheel VOM8 Transport Kit and VOM8 Battery Box/Motor Mount. Â
Recommend to pair with Minkota 12V 30lb. Thrust or less.

The Two Piece Oar Set features a contoured grip for rowing comfort. The oar shaft is 1.375" OD, .055 wall, anodized T6061 aluminum, and features an aluminum connector joint that is stronger than plastic!

VOM8 Transport Kit
The Transport Kit includes an extra clevis pin to secure the oar blades together during transport. Older VO6/8 boats can be retrofitted to accept the transport kit
VOM8 Battery Box/ Motor Mount
Rugged black HDPE box with wood motor mount. Box has thick wall sections and gussets for strength. They attach securely to the rear cargo rack and have a 24" long transom for added strength! Maximum battery size Group 24.
