The unique tapered & closed in bow design of the Takacat Sport inflatable boat provides more traditional lines than the Takacat LX Series but still utilizes the same catamaran hull configuration and features. The ideal inflatable boat tender provides a dry and stable platform with the Takacat element of practicality and enjoyment. TheĀ extra bow space and buoyancy really help maximize onboard space in this tiny boat.
Takacat T300S is theĀ second most popular tender due to the ideal ~10ā length and a bit wider footprint than the T300LX.Ā Ā ItĀ boasts the same revolutionary features as the LX models such as the quick drain tube transomĀ® but you also gain 4ā extra width in the floor which makes a big difference in rougher sea states, or when you need to get all the groceries in one trip. The stable catamaran hull design makes it just as ideal for fishing or drifting down some currents as it is on the open ocean!

The Takacat Sport Series boats feature a revolutionary, and completely removable, Tube TransomĀ®. The sleek and minimal Tube TransomĀ® design makes the boat about 15 lbs lighter than traditional inflatable boats. Because the transom can be completely removed, Takacat packs down significantly smaller as compared to other inflatable boats.Ā Easily packs down into 2 lightweight storage carry bags. Simply put it in the back of your car or easily store it anywhere. All storage bags are vented.

The unique fast-draining removable open Tube TransomĀ® not only allows for easy portability, but also means fast draining.
ā Durable Hull
All Takacat boat models are single seamed making less and are available in both PVC and Hypalon fabric construction. Standard tubes are fabricated from durable custom-made 0.9mm, 1000 denier PVC. All PVC Takacats have welded tubes and all Hypalon Takacats have glued tubes within Asia & Middle East.
ā Tapered Bow for Easier Boarding
While the Takacat Sport bow is not open like the LX the tube does taper down to an 11" diameter which allows for easier boarding than a traditional inflatable boat with uniform-sized diameter tubes.
ā Deeper Bow for More Storage and Buoyancy
The Takacat Sport series boats have a closed bow which creates a bit of a pocket that allows you to carry more gear and store more weight in the bow for a balanced ride. In the shorter model boats like the T260S and T300S the Sport model the closed bow allows for a bit more buoyancy to allow passengers to sit farther forward without the worry of getting wet.

The T300S is the ultimate lightweight watercraft for use as a tender or personal boat that can carry a couple while also maximizing onboard space. The T300S is nearly identical to the famous T300LX but with a closed bow. This extra bow space and buoyancy really help maximize onboard space in this tiny boat.
