What makes the Micro Strike stand out? At 11 feet, the Micro Strike is easy and small enough for one person to lift and place on top of a small vehicle or in between the rear wheel wells of a utility truck. It can be used for fishing with a rower and an additional angler in front of tractor seats. A lightweight modular frame includes oar towers for a rower. There’s room for a small cooler, fishing gear, and micro camping gear. Suggested Oars are 7' to 7.5' Sawyer Stealth Oars with Shoal or Symmetrical Blades.
SOTAR is a family run, custom whitewater inflatable boat manufacturer based in Merlin, Oregon in the USA. Every boat is built by hand and made one at a time. Started in 1980 and SOTAR is still flourishing 40 years later.
SOTAR’s specialty is giving white water sports lovers a boat that is custom designed to personal specifications. Color options are not the only option available. You can change design specs to fit the rivers you run and the specialized use of a raft, cataraft or inflatable kayak.
The Micro Strikes come standard with a welded I beam floor, 10 outside d-rings and 4 carry handles on the bow and stern, a patch kit and boat bag.
Top chafe, frame, extra D-rings and other color options are available on request.
Features
Designed for fishing by fishermen, the Strike is the ultimate fishing raft. It has asymmetrically diminished tubes and a lower rake in the bow, which provides a flatter profile while maintaining a small water footprint. This makes the Strike stable through minimal whitewater and maneuverable enough to get into your favorite fishing hole.
