These boats are made in the USA and customizable.
Olympus is light, fast, and exciting to row. It is handcrafted using fiberglass and carbon fiber, the lightest and strongest construction method known.
It has an affordable competitive racer/trainer design with sleek lines, awesome rigging, popular features, and impressive ruggedness. This rowing shell has a full length and height Carbon reinforces truss backbone and double-cross ribs. These features add enormous stiffness and longevity to your shell. This construction can handle the torque, tension, and weight that lightweight shells of this design require to endure season after season.
Features
Olympus is the easiest of all racing shells to set up. The hull has a slight center chine which adds stability; making it easy to row for people of all sizes. The Quick Release Wing Rigger pops on and off in a snap and is highly and easily adjustable in height to accommodate different-size rowers. It is also fully adjustable in the spread, fore-aft pitch, and rowing thru-the-pin. These features also allow you to fine-tune your shell as your skills and technique improve over the years.
It uses a foam laminate superstructure that allows you to step anywhere within the enclosed cockpit, which is also self-bailing by design and has a reverse splash rail (Wave guard) for a dryer ride.
Olympus also offers a built-in three-quarter rise which allows the rower to drive through the stroke more square to the feet. It has a wide raised bow point that adds buoyancy to the bow when rowing through choppy waters, which is also a required safety device in all U.S.R.A.-sanctioned races).
