Designed for Work, Built for Versatility
The 15' Lobster Rowboat is a true workhorse—built to get you to the fishing grounds quickly while providing the space and stability you need once you arrive.
Its origins trace back to 1930s Maine, where regulations required lobster pots in certain bays to be harvested by rowing or sailing boats. Outboard motors were allowed only to reach the grounds. The result was a uniquely versatile design—capable of planing under power while still excelling as a rowing and sailing vessel.
An aggressive dory-style bow cuts through chop, while the flat bottom allows the boat to plane efficiently with a small motor. Remove the outboard, and the rounded transom glides quietly through the water under oar or sail.
