Our sailing package includes an aluminum mast, aluminum boom, and sail bag. We use solid oak in our seats and to hand-make the rudder and daggerboard so we know that you’ll have the highest quality available on the market.
Perhaps our most popular model, the 860 is small enough to be transported easily, while still having enough space to carry your gear. Suitable for rowing, sailing, or powered by a small outboard, the Puffin 860 is equally at home on the family pond or in the harbor!
Our Puffins feature a white glossy exterior, sturdy vinyl rub rail with rope inlay, and a rich beige interior that wraps along the top of the transom. The varnished oak seats and motor board are made by hand and the boat is finished with a brass bow eye and two rowing stations.
The sailing option includes a sail and sail bag manufactured by North Sails and an aluminum mast and boom. We use the same solid oak in our seats to hand make the rudder and dagger board, which is also included in the package.
Customize your new boat by opting for a custom color, adding a unique name on the back, or decorating the outside with one of our vinyl wraps.

This little beauty is the perfect size, perfect weight, and perfect boat for sailing, rowing and motoring the canals in Punta Gorda Isles. She will live on our dock and be a fun little dalliance when I need to sail or cocktail cruise.
The packaging was amazing! The boat is wrapped so well, but not cumbersome. Not a dent or ding or scratch. As I unwrapped each item... the centerboard, Tiller/rudder was like a little Christmas present. Perfection in wood craftsmanship! The oars are also a piece of art with beautiful brass oarlocks. All of the fittings are stout and well made attached to the boat. The finish is absolutely beautiful as well! Not a bubble, blemish or smudge. Perfect!
