The Connelly Benz is a hybrid design that lets you spin like a skimmer while still linking together surfy turns!
The Benz has been a favorite of both skim and surf riders for many years, and in those years we’ve learned a thing or two. A re-engineered rocker line adds lip to the nose and reduces the height of the tail.
This increases the heel-to-toe maneuverability while keeping the fast overall feel. Connelly's used a diamond tail shape to break the flow of water along the edge to make it easier to break free off the lip, or for initiating spins.

Epoxy Construction

Hybrid Style
These boards combine the carving of a surf style board with the slippery feeling and spin happy style of a skim board.
Round Tail
The all-around performance shape. Water is able to wrap around the curve of the round tail increasing traction, and the larger surface area keeps the board high on the water for maneuverability.
