Rob O'Brian has been around boats his entire life. He grew up on Long Island and was zipping around the Sound with his younger brother on their little Boston Whaler as early as he can remember. It wasn't long before he was captaining ferries and water taxis around the Sound (although he doesn't use it anymore, he's still a licensed ferry captain!). It was only around the time that he and his wife had kids did Rob step away from the professional boating world, but the moment their kids were grown up and out of the house, he jumped right back in as he took the helm of North Atlantic Inflatables.

North Atlantic Inflatables uses only top quality high tensile #5052 marine-grade aluminum in our hulls. The hulls are then powder coated and baked to ensure a smooth finish that is both beautiful and long-lasting.
Their PVC boats are built using German fabric (Heytex) and have welded seams. While Hypalon boats incorporate Orca 600 series hypalon fabric. PVC tubes have a 5-year warranty (Note: PVC tubes are not warrantied for southern climates with intense sun year round. For those climates, we strongly recommend the Hypalon tubes.) Hypalon tubes have a 10-year manufacturer's warranty.
