From smooth lake water to level 2 whitewater the Rush is a winner!
The Innova patented drop-stitch technology is based on the connection of the upper and lower layers of fabric with thousands of polyester fibers. This fabric, equipped with an airtight deposit, is protected on both sides by a resistant Nitrilon® material. Thanks to the thousands of fibers holding the layers together, these products can be inflated to very high pressure. It enables the material to obtain robustness approaching the robustness of solid materials, and that is with the preservation of the same durability as our existing boats.
Standard Package Includes:

Removable covering deck for the boat RUSH 1 prevents from getting water into the boat. Additionally it offers a further easy accessible storage space which you can use during a shorter or longer travelling. The cockpit is to be attached on the inflated boat simply by means of velcro. The RUSH 1 cockpit is delivered together with light metal reinforcements that help to hold the shape and increase the stiffness of the cockpit and the boat itself. Furthermore the cockpit includes a plastic collar reinforcement on, which can be placed a standard spray skirt so the boat becomes completely watertight.

I'll start by saying that Light as Air Boats was a great company to buy these kayaks from. They were incredibly responsive and gave us a great price on everything we bought from them. They got everything out to us very quickly. When there was a snafu with one item that was the manufactorers fault, Light as Air Boats took care of it right away. If I ever have other boating needs, I will surely purchase from them again. Now to the Kayaks. My wife and I bought two Innova Rush 1 kayaks along with the decking and a Double/single-action hand pump SUPER 6/3. This kayak inflates very easily. On the water, it is very stable and maneuverable. It is not as fast as hardshell kayaks we have used but the difference does not bother us. I am 6' tall and my wife is 5'2" and we are both of average build. The Rush 1 works for both of us very well. The decking is great and helps keep water out. I like that it is removable if we don't want to use it. I do wish that Innova had designed lighter braces for the decking as they are a little large and awkward to transport. Something like a collapsable tent frame pole would have been better. The jury is still out on the seat. We have used them twice so far and I'm feeling that the seat could be more comfortable. My wife and I are both in our 50s, so that could be a factor. The pump is made by Innova and did not come with a gauge. Innova sells a separate gauge and Light as Air Boats quickly got that out to us. Unfortunately, the gauge or pump are missing an adaptor to attach the gauge to the pump. We have contacted Innova directly but have not heard back from them yet. Speaking of which, we have one big issue with the kayaks that Innova hasn't got back to us on. It's the storage bags they come with. Fresh out of the factory, they seem great. Blow up the kayak once and try and put it back in the bag and you will lose your mind. It is impossible to get it folded back to factory standards and back in the bag. The sweet folks at Light as Air Boats gave us some advice to use baby powder, but that didn't work. I had fantasies of packing these kayaks into a remote lake in the Cascade Mountains near Seattle, but that doesn't seem feasible. It appears that Innova shipped them in the 80 L transport bag when they should have shipped them in the 100 L bag. At this point it has been two weeks and we still haven't heard back from Innova. They could be more communicative. We will have to satisfy ourselves with using the kayaks in bodies of water we can drive up to. So to finish up this review, I give Light as Air Boats a 10 even though you can only give a 5. They are incredible. The Innova Rush 1 kayak I would give a 5. We do love them and I expect we will have many great times in them. Innova (Gumotex) as a company, I would give a 3. There is no doubt that they have great concerns for the environment as they do not use PVC in manufacturing. They also create a mostly intelligent and innovative kayak in the Rush 1. Customer service is the other half of the story. I don't appreciate having to get a larger transport bag or having a pump that is not set up with a gauge properly.
I bought this rush inflatable kayak for when I travel solo. I'm a 60+ year old women, 5'3" & needed something I could handle alone. I love this thing! It's easy to inflate & great for smooth water paddling.
Innova rush inflatable kayaks are a great option for families looking to enjoy the great outdoors via their local waterways without a lot of expense or hassle.
Rush Inflatable kayak is very easy set up, very comfortable FUN and AWESOME. So many people approached me about how cool this thing is! I actually made several lake friends due to this rush inflatable kayak! Very relaxing and it is easy to operate.
It is extremely sturdy and buoyant. You won't flip or tip once you're in it. You can also hop out, swim around (or, you know, go pee), and get back in. Even if it somehow fills to the brim with water, you'll still be perfectly sea-worthy. It's perfectly sized. I'm an average sized man - 28 years old, 5'10", 195lbs. Fits me perfectly. And it is super easy and quick to set up.
