    This is a set of two Dakota Lithium Plus 12V 135Ah batteries to be linked in series to make 24 volts or any single battery can be used to start your car, truck, or boat engine. Engineered for high performance in rugged and extreme conditions, the DL+ 24V 135Ah battery set includes DL's internal even heating technology that allows for charging and using the battery in extreme temperatures down to -20F.

    Built to start boat and car engines, the DL+ 24V 135Ah battery also has 135 Amps of charging capacity, allowing you to charge the battery from your vehicle's alternator. Charges 5X faster than traditional batteries. 60 minutes or less when combined with a 135 Amp charger or alternator.  

    The DL+ 135 has unrivaled energy density with 5X the power of traditional batteries. 135 Amp Hours (Ah) of capacity engineered to fit inside a group 24 battery case that is 25% smaller than a Dakota Lithium 100 Ah battery.

    Storage Capacity
    135 Ampere hours (Ah). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 135 Amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

    Lifecycles (battery lifespan)
    Up to 80% capacity for 5,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical automotive SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.

    Operating temperature
    Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium batteries. -20°F min, +150°F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). Internal even-heat technology allows for charging below 32°F. BMS high temp cut off at 167°F / 75°C.

    Discharge

    135A max continuous discharge, 1000A max 2 second pulse, 900A max 5 sec pulse. The flat discharge voltage curve provides a 75% bigger capacity than a 135Ah SLA battery with the same CCA rating.

    Peak / Continuous Charge

    Recommend for longest life 70A or less (.5C), Peak charge acceptance 165A max for one minute, 200A max BMS cutoff. Max continuous 150A (1C). 14.4V recommended, 15V max, BMS protection from over charging will cut off at 15V. 14.4 Volts..

    Max Charge / Alternator Size
    Peak charge acceptance 165A max for one minute, 200A max BMS cutoff. Drop in replacement for lead acid and AGM starter batteries for vehicles. Limited to a max alternator size of 150 amps or less per battery (link multiple batteries in parallel for alternators >150 Amps).

    340 minutes (RC25 @ 80°F)

    Includes active BMS protection
    Contains a high discharge capable circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff (10V) preventing over discharge, high voltage cutoff (15V) preventing over charging, short circuit protection and temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.

    Internal Even-Heat Technology
    Increases performance in extreme cold. When charging the battery in temperatures below 0°C/32°F DL's internal heating element will warm the cells to 0°C/32°F. This increases the lifespan, performance, and efficiency of the battery.

    All DL batteries are UN38 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, train, & marine transport.

    Recommended Charger
    24v 5A LiFePO4 charger is recommended. (Sold Separate) Dakota Lithium 12V batteries should be charged at 14.4 volts, higher than AGM or lead acid. Lead acid chargers will work, but will only charge the battery to 80% of capacity.

    10 amp LiFePO4 charger for rapid charging of larger batteries. Optimal for Dakota Lithium 54Ah and 100Ah batteries. All 12 volt Dakota Lithium batteries should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger.
