All non-defective returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and the buyer is liable for all shipping charges both to the buyer and the return shipping. If free shipping was given to the buyer, the true cost of the shipping will be deducted from the refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. In other words, the product must be able to be re-sold as new. Processing returns can take up to 2 weeks.
Return shipping should be insured and is not refundable. If buyer does not insure the item, they incur the risk of a lost shipment. Any original shipping fees associated with the item will not be refunded.
These suppliers do not accept returns:
If you cancel an order before it is shipped, you may be charged a $25 administrative fee.
If you decide to cancel your order after it has already shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for actual shipping costs to you and back to the manufacturer. You will also be liable for the payment processing fees incurred - 2.9% of total order amount. A restocking fee of up to 20% may be assessed.
Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card used when purchasing. Refunds may take up to 1-2 weeks to return to your account depending on your financial institution.
WHAT TO DO WHEN AN ITEM IS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
Light As Air Boats must be notified by you within twenty-four (24) hours after receipt of all damaged products and shortages. Individual manufacturers may differ on damages as noted below. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) for damage and missing parts IMMEDIATELY when they arrive and before the carrier leaves. If you notice any damage, make note of it when signing for delivery. If you sign the delivery form, you are releasing the shipping carrier of liability and stating that you received your package in good condition and with all parts included. If damages are reported after the shipping carrier leaves, it can make it very difficult to recoup any losses from damages. If you notice damage upon opening the item (concealed damage), please reach out to us through the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. Carriers only allow two (2) business days after delivery to file a freight claim, so please contact us immediately. Save shipping container and take photos of the damaged container and the product.
In the rare case that there is extensive damage to the package reject the delivery and contact us immediately. Charges apply if the item is shipped back to us due to a failed delivery. If your item arrives damaged or defective, do not use it. Failure to promptly follow these instructions could result in our inability to help you resolve this issue without loss to you. Please be prepared to show proof of purchase and photos of the defective product.
Online Outboards - When Online Outboards is the shipper, freight and shipping damage shall be reported to Light as Air Boats within two (2) calendar days of receipt of goods. It is the purchaser/customer responsibility to note any damage before signing the delivery receipt. If damage has occurred to the outboard, purchaser shall make note of such before signing for delivery. Customer shall not refuse delivery of the outboard based on damage. In the event of shipping or freight damage, customer shall keep and safeguard all factory packaging, including, but not limited to, all external packaging, all internal styrofoam, bubble wrap, and cardboard supports. In the event a product was damaged during shipment and proper and timely notification was given to Light As Air Boats, Online Outboards will file a damage claim with the carrier. Damage or loss of goods that are outside the control of Online Outboards is not to be considered basis for waiver of the cancellation and refused shipments provision contained herein.

Our inflatable watercraft are warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of 1 year from the day of delivery or 120 days for Pau Hana products. The buyer must contact us for an authorization before returning the defective item. Warranty service can only be performed once the item has been returned to where the order was shipped from. If the product is determined to be defective, the product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded, at our option.
Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. This warranty does not cover consequential damages or any other losses arising from any defect of the product.
This warranty does NOT cover:
Products used for rental, for hire or in professionally guided tours and other uses not considered normal recreational purposes; and punctures, cuts and abrasions sustained in normal use; and items involved in accidents; and items damaged in white water mishaps, and other unreasonable uses or improper storage. This warranty applies to original owner and is not transferable.
